Dear Blk Girl: You Are Enough

It has been a journey to get to this point. I have done everything I can, and I recognize that now it's time to launch Blk Spiritualist.

This concept, this idea was just a conversation between sisters, but once I heard it I knew it had to become something real. I had no idea what Blk Spiritualist would look like nor did I know who it would be for, but I knew it was an idea We needed to give birth to.

From that conversation We started taking action steps. Domain and social handles were secured, formation documents completed, inventory ordered... all the things. There was all this momentum, and then Life happened. Moves were made, priorities had to be adjusted, and then for me Doubt set in.

As I complete the last of my checks and prepare to go live. I find myself thinking, "This should have been done sooner." Some tasks were challenging and time consuming, but none of this was as hard as I had been telling myself on the inside. I recently shared with my sisters that it was I who was really delayed the launch. A lot of the design and creative aspects had to be executed by me. The whole time I was trapped in my mind thinking I wasn't good enough, feeling less than, but in reality... I am none of those things.

I am Enough and I was was more than capable of getting us to this point. All of my school, education and instincts kicked in once I got started. If I got stuck one if not both of my sisters were there to keep everything on track. I laugh because there were times where I'd get ready to spiral and whomever I was near or on the phone with would just yell Launch! Launch! Launccccchhh! LOL!

They were pushing me and keeping me from getting in my own way. They could see what I couldn't and here we are Launchhhhinggg!!!

I share all of this to say...

Dear Blk Girl,

You are Enough! You are NOT too much. You are Talented, Smart and Worthy. You are NOT the things people may have tried to speak over You. You are Powerful and capable of anything You put your mind to.

You Can... You Will... The Path will reveal itself. No more excuses! Get Up, Make it Happen, the World needs what Only You can give. You Matter. We See You, We Love You!
